Why is Wifi off in the Experia Box? I have a good network still

If I login to my Experia box, and browse the settings, I see under wifi that iy is out! Still enough coverage for the whole house , but why is it out? I have 2 of the wifi spots from kpn, and 1 is connected by an ethernet cable, so is that the reason?

Thanks in advance

Adam

Depends on the type of experia box modem you have in use.

The v10a should form mesh wifi with the kpn wifi  spots so wifi should stay on, you could enable it manually.

Hi @Engelse69, the Experia Box V10a should be able to mesh with our Wifi devices. Only the V10 (without the a) should turn of Wifi in the modem. Can you take a closer look to which modem you have?

I have the v10 experia box. Does it make a difference with wifi on or off?

The experia v10 does not support mesh wifi with kpn wifi spots, so wifi on the experia v10 should be disabled and at least one kpn wifi spot should be connected wired with the experia v10.
