I don't agree with the €60,50 charge of data outside EU

Hi KPN,

 

In my January statement, I received a EUR 60.50 charge for 6197kb on 26 December while on the airplane travelling from the Netherlands to Singapore.

 

Extract from statement:

SAT Internet 26 dec 12:53 6197 60,500

 

I believe this to be an error and request for the incident to be looked into. I’m happy to provide evidence of travel and timing, if required.

Looks like you didn't put your phone in Airplane mode and connected to an expensive maritime satellite connection. 
Always turn off data when leaving solid ground (including boats and airplanes) and disable roaming when leaving the EU
