Hi,

I will be leaving the Netherlands in a couple of weeks, permanently relocating to another country (Non EU) in order to cancel my subscriptions mobile and house internet I need to provide the deregistration from the Gemeente, the only issue is that I can’t do this until the day of departure and it looks like i need to return the modem to KPN - how is this handled is it possible to send the modem/equipment in advance of the deregistration?

Hoi @ACormier. Welcome to the Community! It’s great that you’re asking this ahead of time. Moving abroad is already exciting enough without extra worries about your subscriptions. I completely understand that you want to have everything sorted before you leave.

Normally, we do indeed ask for a deregistration certificate from the municipality when moving abroad. This document is required to end your subscription free of charge.

I see that PeterG has already shared the correct link above, thanks for that! On that page, you’ll find all the information you need about emigrating and cancelling your services. Have you been able to arrange everything and get answers to your questions?
