Request to honour €150 trade-in bonus with an iPhone 17 Pro Max purchase

Dear KPN Support Team,

 

I hope you are doing well.

I am writing regarding my recent purchase of the iPhone 17 Pro Max together with the trade-in of my iPhone 15 Pro Max during the promotion period of 12–19 September, which included a €150 trade-in bonus when selecting an Unlimited data plan.

 

I have received the device value, but the €150 bonus was rejected, with the explanation that I am not on an Unlimited data package. I would like to clarify the full situation:

 

  1. When I visited the KPN store, I clearly told the KPN representative that I needed a good trade-in amount because my phone was almost new.

  2. He advised me to choose the “safe option” trade-in value (€425) instead of the higher first option, and I agreed because I believed the €150 bonus would cover the difference.

  3. At no point was I told that choosing the Unlimited plan was mandatory for receiving the bonus. If I had been informed, I would have immediately selected the Unlimited plan.

  4. My attached receipt even mentions the €150 bonus conditions, which gave me confidence that I was eligible.

  5. My subscription with KPN only started recently because my previous Vodafone contract had to finish first, and during this time I had forgotten the exact subscription details I selected.

  6. The main reason I decided to place the order during the promotional period was specifically to receive the €150 bonus.

Given these circumstances, I kindly request KPN to honour the promotional €150 bonus. I acted in good faith based on the information provided by the KPN representative.

To fully comply with the promotional conditions, I am ready to switch my current data subscription to Unlimited immediately.

I hope KPN can assist in resolving this fairly. Please let me know the next steps. I can provide my receipt, trade-in confirmation, or any other details you may need.
