After 3 months of waiting for a technician I still didn't have a connection

I made a subscription for internet middle November 2025. At today 06-02-26 I still have no internet, KPN keeps sending weekly emails saying that a technician will call me shortly but no one ever contacted me, I called customer care few times but it is just pointless. It's unbelievable that in the Netherlands you can step into a third world country company like KPN. When I subscribed they told me that I would have had a connection after 1 month of subscription, now after almost 3 months I still don't have a line, a router, never heard from KPN. Really scandalous, I did cancel my contract and I will go with another provider, I wouldn't recommend KPN to anyone as the service is just poor actually is no service at all.

Hi @Vincenzo nasti , welcome to the KPN Community! I completely understand your frustration. You are given an expected installation date, and then you don’t expect to have to wait several additional months.

Based on your story, I expect this concerns a fiber connection. In such cases, it can happen that an address becomes available for ordering a subscription while the final phase of the installation has yet to begin. That in itself does not have to be a major issue, because if everything goes smoothly, the communicated installation date is usually met. Unfortunately, unexpected issues can sometimes arise at the network operator (KPN Network) or with a contracted installer, causing delays. As a provider, we unfortunately have limited influence over this. The contractor determines and communicates the planning, which can sometimes be postponed. This explains why you received weekly emails but were ultimately not contacted.

It is very unfortunate to read that you have had this experience, as it is far from the ideal customer journey. We are aware of this and will take it as a learning point. I wish you a stable and reliable connection with your new provider, and perhaps our paths will cross again in the future.
