Box 12 in meterkast, how to improve wifi in rest of house

KPN gebruikt gewoon normale standaard UTP kabel. Daar is niets bijzonders aan. Elke UTP kabel zou moeten werken.

Probeer dit:

1. Dus UTP kabel tussen KPN Box 12 en OptoXS kastje.

2. UTP kabel tussen outlet en tv ontvanger. 

Werkt de tv ontvanger nu via de bekabelde verbinding? Zonder WiFi dus?

Je kunt ook een pc of laptop bekabeld aansluiten op de outlet. Kijk of je zo internet hebt en doe een speedtest.

Hi, Thank you for your email. My issue is I need to take the WIFI router inside the house. Regarding that I want solution. because once i connect red cable to Optoxs and then place router inside the house the internet is not working.

I want to work it like this, Because odido router worked earlier.

Maar blijkbaar werkt dat niet. Dan gaat het niet werken ook. Daar is dan geen oplossing voor. KPN gaat je hier niet mee helpen. En ik weet ook niet waarom dit niet werkt.

Je zult moeten accepteren dat dit niet kan.

If I keep the router inside the cast I will lose the wifi at some points in my living room. This is why i want to know the exact technical info what is KPN Box12 expects to be get as input. I need signal specifications / limits /bandwisths to know. then I can chaeck the Optobox specs will match this or not.  As you said now no one helps me. KPN say apartment needs to fix. apartment team comes and say no everything from them works fine. 😒

Even voor de duidelijkheid: met "router" bedoel je de KPN Box 12 toch?

That's the first solution that comes to my mind. Were you already awear of this option?

You also asked for specs so you can check and compare them with the Opto Box that isn’t working. For that, you can look at kpn.com/eigenmodem. Je kan een SuperWiFi aanschaffen. Dan kan je die in de woonkamer bekabeld aansluiten. 

Dat is gewoon standaard ethernet signaal. Daar is niets bijzonders aan.

Er word gebruik gemaakt van een PPPoE verbinding. Misschien ondersteund die OptoXS box dat niet. Maar wat wil je daar dan aan doen? Je kan er niets aan doen. Je zult ermee moeten dealen.

Het beste zou zijn om die glasvezel en die OptoXS bix volledig te vervangen door een normale utp kabel. Maar ik begrijp dat het niet je eigen huis is. Dus dat zal geen optie zijn denk ik.
