Cannot connect to the Optic Fiber box, it's located outside of my home

Hi team,

The Optic Fiber Endpoint is located in the meter box outside of my appartement.
This present three main issues:

  • I cannot connect the KPN Box and the Optic Fiber Box since one is outside and the other inside the apartment
  • There no power socket to plug the Optic Fiber Box (Nokia)
  • There’s a bunch of electric cables blocking access to the Endpoint 

I would like to plan for the technician to move the Endpoint inside the apartment.
I would also like to modify my subscription for classic ADSL in the meantime (as it seems that the lead time for technician intervention is quite long). 

Would you be able to help?

Hi ​@Val017587. Welcome to the KPN Community! It’s great that you’ve already done some research into the fiber situation in your home and in your meter cupboard. As far as I can tell, these are not insurmountable issues, and a KPN technician should be able to handle them just fine.

Luckily, you’ve filled in your details in your profile, so I was able to look up your information right away. I can see that your subscription has already started and that you’ve received a message saying you can connect. But yes, that’s exactly the problem. Within two weeks after the start date, you can request a free installation technician, and we can schedule one quite quickly as well. However, you’ll need to call our helpdesk so they can arrange this together with you.
