Glas LED is off, no connection

Hi KPN,

 

I switched internet providers to KPN, and the activation date was yesterday (15-04-2026). I received an email from KPN to start my installation (but did not receive an SMS that my connection is  active). I followed the steps and installed the KPN fiberglass-box. The Ethernet lamp is on but the Glas lamp is off. The KPN installation guide in the app says  something is wrong and I should try my installation again.

I have called customer support.
They have arranged for a technician but it’s in 2 weeks time (29-04-2026) which is too long since me and my partner need to work with the internet and I’m burning through my phone data at the moment.

I have also called again, and one customer representative said that KPN has not yet activated my connection and it should be activated by the end of the day (yesterday). I have checked again today by disconnecting the fiberglass-box from power for 2 minutes and re-connecting but it did not do anything.

I have also tried connecting through my old Huawei ONT (Optical Network Terminal) but it also doesn’t have a Glas connection (PON lamp is off, LOS lamp is on).

Do you have any thing else I should try? Please advise!

Hi ​@as13, welcome to our community. 
If the GLAS light is not on yet, then there is no signal on the line. The quickest way now is to contact us by phone to check this. However, I expect that the technician will need to come and take a look.
Would it be alright if I also take a look to see if I notice anything else? Could you fill in your KPN profile with all the relevant information and let me know here once you’ve done that?!--endfragment>!--endfragment>!--startfragment>!--startfragment>
