How do I change my subscription to fiber?

Hello everyone, Im here with very urgent question of mine.

 

I recently moved to different address. My old contract is up to 100mbit per second, but in my new address maximum speed is 4mbit but there is a chance for fiber connection here. The modem I received from KPN is for DSL connections and I think my contract is also not including fiber connections, as far as I know, I need to upgrade my subscription to use fiber connection. But I cant change my speed from manage my subscription, what else I can do? Any help?

HI ​@Hkipek and welcome to our Community! Glad to see you got some help already. 😄

If our website says that fiber isn't ready yet then we don't have the option to deliver services through a fiber connection on your address yet, as Flitsend also says. 
4 Mbit/s is not a lot, but calling us could help you go through the options! Maybe Sneller Internet Buitengebied is possible (internet through the mobile network). 

And, for extra information and future readers, here's what KPN access points look like. Should you ever be in doubt. 🙂

Is fiber available at your new address? If so, is it KPN?

Fiber is available but when I check from KPN website, it says fiber is not ready with KPN yet. When I searched through providercheck website, I see thare are some providers still possible. It seems like I need to switch providers to use better speed.

Who placed the FTU (Fiber connection point) in your house? Was this KPN or another supplier?

Then it could very well be the case that KPN doesn't deliver fiber internet on your address.

And you could always try to call KPN at 0800-0402 to talk options ofcourse. Maybe they have a partnership with this supplier and can still realise it, but I can't promise you that.
