I had a Ziggo internet subscription so the old modem has a normal cable input

When I changed the internet to KPN ,They sent me a new modem ( box 12 ) that does not fit the cable input to the wall

Hi @new modem! Welcome and thank you for joining KPN! I can understand the confusion but we use a different and separate connection than Ziggo. There should be another socket somewhere in your house. If you look on the page: Waar zit je aansluitpunt van KPN you can find a couple of examples. If you can't locate the connection point you can always contact us free of charge on 0800-0402 and my will then schedule an appointment for a mechanic.

That connection is for Ziggo usage only.
For KPN you need to find the “ISRA’, which looks like one of these:

Or there might be glasfiber in your house. That connection looks like this:
