Error code iTV app 500-REF-401UK not in EU

As of 4 jan 2021 it appears I can no longer watch Kpn iTV in UK as it is no longer in the EU - Is this correct?  I only took out the ziggo sports service in December 2020 so I could watch sport while I was working in UK.

That is correct. You can use the ITV App in the entire European Union. However, The UK has left the European Union on the first of Januari 2021, therefore the ITV app isn't available for use within The UK anymore. My apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.

    Thank you.  I am disappointed as I specifically asked an adviser in a KPN shop in The Hague if this would happen and I was informed there would be no effect of the UK leaving the EU as long as I can log on

    That's unfortunate. I'm sorry you've been misinformed. A lot of details about the Brexit and what that would mean for our services had been unclear for us as well, until the deal had been made.
