It is only possible to watch live television with KPN TV+ Box

Hello everyone,

Got a new DIW7022 installed. The remote and the receiver work fine. It starts normally, showing the kpn and Android tv logo, and connects to the wifi fine. It lets me watch live tv without any issue. But that's all.

I can't seem to have access to any smart tv options. The configuration page doesn't let me do much (not options about smart tv, Google, etc either) and can't search anything besides the normal tv channels included in the box. Didn't even connect to Google at any point. 

 

Everything has been updated. Any possible solution? Thank you.

I understand the disappointment, I can confirm that the apps are supposed to work. Did you get the option to log in with your Google account?

Could please try resetting the box completely? Follow this link to see how to do this.

Does it work after that?

Well, the DIW7022 technically is supported by androidtv which in turn runs it's functions as a Google tv box (sort of) -> you connect the Google account and you've got all the Google apps (the ones available for tv) on there.

Thanks very much for the links but sadly not. All those solutions would help me if... the things that appear on those screens would be the same that appear on mine! I'll attach a picture.

 

That's all that appears as menu and configuration, can't do much anything casts/connections/apps/etc with these options. I'm just genuinely questioning whether there can be smart tv options or not. Thanks very much!!

Ja dit kan ook. Bij eerste installatie moet/kan je gelijk je Google account invoeren. En vervolgens heb je toegang tot de playstore. 

Maar de manier waarop dit werkt spreekt toch voor zich? Er is een menu optie "Apps".
