Resetting the pincode for my tv account does not work in the MijnKPN app

Hello, I forgot the parental control so i push the button forgot scan the QR code open the link, inloggen in mijnkpn, it s schearching to arrive to this message

 

Something is wrong

It looks like the Reset PIN Code tool is not working at the moment.

 

this is the same for the last 2 months so I call the klanten service during one hour somene try something and didnt succeed until they hang up.

 

I try the factory reset: same thing the pincode is not working.

Hello ​@yoannfilip, if you can't reset the TV pincode by yourself, the best way to get a new pincode is by contacting our customer service. You can make a call me back appointment and then a KPN agent will call you back on a moment that suits you. 

The agent can then reset your pincode and can register a ticket for the servicetool, because this toll should work for you. If calling is a step to far for you because of a possible language barrier? You can also contact KPN by using X or Bluesky or  Facebook messenger and as option Instagram

    I think it's the TV receiver's PIN code, is that correct?

    A moderator can check if they can reset the PIN code. Could you please fill out your forum profile? It may take a few days for the moderator to respond.

    I did this and the answer was: "sorry it s not possible to give you or send you another pincode. Have a good day".

     

    So at this end I know the service!

    I even did a reset factory myself without success.

    A pity.

    The answer you received surprises me. 
    Luckily it is possible to reset a pincode. You will receive a couple of e-mails with your account number and one with a new KPN TV pincode.
