AMP Logistics called for a delivery payment of 6 euro's for my phone, acoording to KPN it must be 0.01 euro

Hallo,

 

I have a question: why is AMP Logistics calling me to tell me I'll have to pay almost 6 euros for my phone's delivery, while KPN tells me I need to pay 0.01 euros for verification? Is this standard practice for AMP? Because it's a little bit strange for me. They said it's payment for appointment for delivery.

A valid question, good that you're raising it here. I see on their website that AMP charges a fee in certain situations, for example at specific times of day for deliveries. Have you made a similar arrangement with them regarding the delivery?

Could you also fill in your KPN profile? That way I can look into this further for you. Your information is not public , I’m the only one who can see it.

Thank you for your reply. I only agreed with them on what I received in the email from KPN. I had to choose a delivery date and time frame. There was no information about an additional fee. Generally, it's not a problem to pay 6 euros, but I think this information should have been clearly and explicitly stated beforehand to avoid misunderstandings. Currently, my new phone still hasn't been delivered because an hour after calling "hello, the PIN pad isn't working, can you pay cash?" I received a second call saying, "The PIN pad isn't working and we won't be coming." However, I also think AMP considers itself the most important company, and it's okay for them to change the date, and the customer has to adapt and wait whenever they can (there's no guarantee it will arrive, as something might be wrong). Or they can give you a date in two weeks, or if it doesn't work for you, "no problem, we'll cancel the order and delivery." This is the first time I've encountered this kind of customer service. I hope the second delivery date will be met.
