Can't activate e-sim after replacing iphone

Hi, 

My old iPhone was with e-sim and it broke and not available anymore. i replace it with new iphone. 

How can i activate the e-sim on the new iphone? 


*I don’t have the old iphone anymore. 

*I’m trying from the mijn KPN but without success

Hi @isolik,

I'm sorry to hear your phone broke 🙁 As Speedmaster explained, it's not possible to activate an E-sim when the phone with the active E-sim is not working any more, and a physical sim card is needed to activate it again.

Hopefully you've managed to visit a KPN store by now!

You need an real SIM to activate the E-SIM, so go to the KPN store, they can help you.

And if you still have a working iPhone with e-sim but you want to install it on a new phone. Is that possible or do you really need to have a physical simcard. This seems unnecessary because I can receive sms on current (old) phone.
