Do I need to be in person when the simcard is delivered?

Hi, I just ordered a SIM-Card only which I carried my phone number from other telecom company. In the mail said I have to be in person and present my ID card when the SIM card is delivered. Is it necessary that I have to wait at home for the SIM card? For all the available delivery time, I will not be at home, could they just put the SIM card in the mail box?

Hello @mindysay, if you are a new customer, it is needed that you are there in person to accept the sim card. There are some checks that need to be done to verify you as a customer. 
If the appointment does not suit you, you can re-arrenge the appointment.
