E-Sim activated yesterday but “primary” says no service

My E-sim was activated yesterday but my phone says there’s no service and my mobile data is not working. I don’t understand what “travel” and “primary” mean but I kept my old phone number and saved it as primary when setting it up but now my phone is showing “kpn” next to “travel” at the top of my screen and primary says no service, I don’t understand what this means. I’ve shut my phone down multiple times and that hasn’t done anything. I’ve looked everywhere on the my kpn app and the website and I feel like I’m going in circles and nothing is working. I’m getting very frustrated. I can’t even call the customer service number, it immediately says call failed. Please help.

I went to the physical KPN store and had it fixed, I don’t know what was wrong exactly but the worker at the store changed some settings and now it’s working.

Sorry to read that you have problems with your e-sim. What happens when you restart the phone?

Does it ask for a pincode for the simcard? 

And you said KPN is in the left top of the screen? So a network can be found?
