My mobile connection was cancelled after I moved abroad, but I still need the number for bank TAN code

Hi, 

I moved abroad a year ago and kept enough recharge on my KPN mobile. In Feb 2020, my KPN mobile connection was cancelled and now I am unable to receive TAN code for bank transactions. 

I am trying to reach the bank to change the registered number, but since I am abroad it will take time. 

Is there a way to get back the mobile number from KPN?

Unfortunately it is not possible to get your old number back. The number is not used for a few months, and then if necessary issued to a new customer. In addition, we cannot link a specific number to a specific subscription or SIM card. I'm sorry.. I hope you can quickly change your number at your bank so you can get your tan code!
