Will my bundle be deactivated?

I purchased a KPN travel e-SIM and a 7 day topup a few weeks ago.

I activated it on February 9th, so I should have until a week from today . But I got a message today notifying me that my travel bundle will be deactivated tomorrow, and when I log on to my KPN Travel account, it shows:

I 'm not sure why it says “this order is canceled ” since I 'm actively using it and definitely did not receive any refund. But anyway, it is critical that I have service tomorrow; can anyone please confirm that I will not lose connectivity, since I already purchased and paid for the topup?

@Noordzee Thank you so much for your help!

I am still a bit confused though. It said that my plan was for 31 days and the top-up was 7 days, so I should have 38 days, and 38 days from February 4th is March 14th, so then it shouldn’t be expiring tomorrow, right? Your reply seems to indicate that it actually just lasts one month instead of 31 days, which I suppose is possible, but I would be quite upset with KPN if that were the case, given that it explicitly says “31 days” rather than “1 month” on the plan; it would be quite misleading to sell people a 31 day plan but actually round it down to less time than that in a shorter month.

But also, if I buy an E-SIM and select “later” instead of “direct” as the activation time and then do not even activate the E-SIM for a few days, are you sure the clock starts counting down as soon as it is purchased? If that is the case, then why does it even have an option to activate “later” instead of “direct”?

If the clock did start on February 9th, which was exactly 31 days ago, then it would make sense that I got a text saying that the plan will be deactivated tomorrow. But I would like to think that the top-up still has not been used and will begin automatically afterwards, which is what I’m trying to confirm. If the top-up ahs in fact already been used, then this is of course good to know, but… I’m not sure how that makes sense to be honest?

Yes @Miles Gordon , you are right. It is 31 days. Then it will be:

Deze bundel is gestart op 4 februari 2025.

De normale einddatum zou dan 6 maart 2025 zijn. (31 dagen)

Met zeven dagen extra wordt dat dan 13 maart 2025.

Dus dan is het na 13 maart 2025 inderdaad voorbij.

Dat je de bundel pas bent gebruiken op 9 februari 2025 doet niet ter zake.

Google translate:

This bundle started on February 4, 2025.

The normal end date would then be March 6, 2025. (31 days)

With seven days extra, that will be March 13, 2025.

So then it is indeed over after March 13, 2025.

That you were using the bundle only on February 9, 2025 is irrelevant.

Tomorrow (March 13, 2025) is the last day!

Hi @Miles Gordon, welcome on our board.

It's nice to see that Noordzee has already helped you. He also explains it well regarding the start date. Thanks Noordzee. DId you choose an activation moment on a later date?
