I use my own router (VLAN 7 etc). What do I need to plug the telephone?

EDIT - error in title. Should be “VLAN 6”.

Dag Iedereen.

Vergeef me alsjeblieft. Ik leer Nederlands.
Het maakt het lastig om op het forum te zoeken.

I have Glasvezel and I use my own router (VLAN 6 and PPoE configured - all working well). I am using a Ubiquiti Gateway but will soon change to Opnsense on a new device.

I also have the phone service from KPN.

How can I plug my fixed phone in?  Do I need special settings for VLAN / SIP etc?

If you can share keywords to search for it would be really helpful.

Dank u!

You will need a separate VoIP ATA to connect your telephone.

I have an EdgeRouter 4 as router and use a Gigaset N300A IP for my telephone.

There is no separate vlan involved for the telephone.
