Are your using the KPN ONT, where the modem should be connected with a LAN cable or do you put the fiber cable direct in your gear ?
There is no need to change the MAC address of the router you want to use.
If you don't have television from KPN it is very simple, just make sure de router uses a pppoe connection on vlan 6 to connect to the Internet, the login credentials may be anything.
If you doe have television form KPN, please read the topic below.
Hi both , thanks for the quick reply. I’ve managed to find the solution on this forum. And indeed it was the case to set the vlan id to 6 and i didn’t know the username and pw (tried copying them from the kpn router but they didn’t work).
Thanks again for this info , this has completely changed my day :D
Take care

Hi @Remco van KPN thanks for the follow-up and also the page. I would have a suggestion to make sure that this is known by your customer service dept because i called them before finding this forum and they didn’t have any clue that this is possible. She told me that it can’t be done with KPN.
That's unfortunate @dmikee, I agree that the page in question should be the bare minimum. I'm really sorry that it wasn't communicated properly. Feel free to post a followup topic if you have any additional questions.
