it is not strange at all, just got my update too, and every single setting is now gone, all the wifi settings, port forwarding, ip reservations, every settings has been deleted after the update.

thank you so much for deleting all my settings!

furthermore my lan switches are also not working anymore.. i can only connect via wifi.

how do i fix this and have my lan switches working again? only green light and no orange one on them..

With a regular update, your settings should have been kept, @A_Durante. However, when migrating from the old software to the new software, it is common for these settings to be lost. So it really depends on whether you got an upgrade or an update.

As for the LAN switches: my advise would be to give your modem a reset. Yes, you will have to reapply all your settings, but I suspect it will solve the LAN issues.

yeah that’s what i’ve been told too in the other thread, but it’s not the case.

it was updating from V12.C.24.05.08 (at least that’s what i can read in the “Rescue firmware version”) but still all my settings got lost anyway..
I just did a factory reset, restarted it multiple times, and after plugging/unplugging it several times, it seems that they are working again now.

I'm sorry to read that you lost your settings with a regular update, this should not have happened. I'm glad to read that it seems to have been fixed now.
