How can I activate my prepaid simcard from abroad?

I have bought a kpn prepaid sim but I have not activated it in the Netherlands. I am now in Slovenia and desperately need the card activated. I have tried sending messages to activate it but it doesn't work. is there a way to activate the card from abroad?

You can only activate this yourself when you are in the Netherlands, connected to the KPN network.

However, a KPN employee can do this for you remotely.

Place your 06-number and SIM card number (ICCID) in your community profile . Use the field "Persoonlijke opmerkingen" and save your input by pressing "Sla wijzigingen op".

Report here when you've done this, then I'll bring your question to the attention of the KPN moderators.

Hi ​@Ejrazem, I saw you filled out you profile. I activated you simcard just now. You might need to restart your phone once, so it reconnects to the network. After that it should work 🙂

Ik dacht juist dat hij het naar aanleiding van jouw verzoek had gedaan, het stond precies waar je naar verwees namelijk. Alleen geen seintje dat het was gedaan. Het vulde elkaar mooi aan zo, vanuit mijn perspectief 😉
