Hey @Peter Andrews. Welcome to the KPN Community!

It's good to see that @RBxx is already thinking along with you and providing you with important information. Were you able to check whether your Odido SIM card still works?

If that is the case then you have to wait a while until your number is transferred to KPN. If you were informed correctly, you have texted JA to 6688 to confirm the number retention. After that you have received the date on which your number will be transferred to us by text message and e-mail.

Hopefully this information will help you further and otherwise I would like to hear how we can help you.

Hi @Peter Andrews

You come from Odido to KPN with keeping your number? Is your Odido sim card still working perhaps? KPN will receive your number from Odido after the old subscription comes to an end, taking in account the standard notice period of one month. Only then the KPN sim card will become active.

Hi Ruud,

That is not what KPN informed me

Hi @Peter Andrews , I can only tell you how I changed provider. I received a confirmation from KPN with a specification of the date on which I would switch from the old provider to KPN.

On that date I waited until the old sim card lost connection with the network. Then I placed the KPN sim card in my phone and my KPN subscription started.

Back to my question: Is your Odido sim card still working ?

You're welcome.

I assume the Odido SIM card is still working at the moment?
You have found the date on which your subscription at KPN will start?

Ok. Then I assume that you now know when your number will be transferred. Then I wish you a warm welcome to KPN and then it's now just a matter of being patient :)
