On the KPN page, all my invoices are paid. I canceled my subscription by phone at the end of july. The last payment I made was for September 1. KPN is still reuqesting another payments. Although I already returned the router and I dont understand why I keep getting these emails and letters by post. I did a different subscription with another provider already and I dont have the money to pay KPN. What can i do? I tried calling but only spoke to me in Dutch.

Hello @zadina, thank you for your post.

I understand you have cancelled your subscription in July, because you got a subscription with another provider. May I ask, how did you cancel your KPN subscription?

Usually, when switching providers, you can choose Overstapservice. This means that your new provider will cancel your subscription with the current provider. That way, your subscription will automatically end. They will pick a date that does not conflict with the one month notice period with your current provider.

If you cancel your subscription yourself, however, you have to keep in mind that you have a one month notice period. So if you let us know on August 20th that you want to end your subscription, it will end on September 20th, because of the one month notice period. It is not possible to let us know one week beforehand that you'd like to cancel.

Either way, sometimes you get an invoice when a day before your subscription ends. This is because we always ask you to pay us in advance. Our system does not keep track of future changes, such as a cancellation of your subscription. Thus, it is possible for you to pay an entire month in advance, even even you have one more day left. But no worries, because we understand that you don't want to pay for something you cannot use. You will receive another invoice at the end of your billing month. You will then be reimbursed what you paid too much.

You had contact with the customer service in June? To cancel the contract by the end of July? You always have one month notice after you let us know the subscriptions needs to cancelled.
If you still are receiving bills and requests to pay them, something is not right. The best way to solve this is to call the customer department.
