I canceled my wifi contract with you because i emigrated to another country, I sent you an official proof of this and even though I got an email asking me to pay the remaining months of the contract but in your website says i don’t have to pay if the client die or I emigrate. I am wondering if there is a mistake with the cancellation process.

thank you.

Hello @inconformismo . Welcome to the KPN Community.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concern. I completely understand how frustrating it must be to receive such an email after you’ve already provided official proof of your emigration.

When canceling due to emigration, it’s crucial that we receive the correct documents to process the cancellation smoothly. If there’s any detail missing or if the document doesn’t meet the required criteria, it might lead to a delay or misunderstanding in the process.

To ensure everything is in order, please double-check the documents you submitted against the requirements outlined on our website: kpn.com/emigration. This page provides detailed guidance on what’s needed for emigration cancellations.

Hello! I believe the problem is that I had to call the company to cancel on time because I sent the documents and all the information 4 times and never got a confirmation or anything king of response, probably due to the call the guy who attended me though i wanted to cancel it and didn’t take count of the official documents i sent him to confirm i moved abroad to my country. I also went to kpn store and asked there what did i need, i gave back the wifi router and he sent again an emigrantion email with all my details and the document which confirm i am not living in netherlands, he told me i would get an answer and everything was fine, so thats why i know the document is official and should be enough (i called the city hall also to verify if i should get another kind of document) but still i got a new bill with and i have to pay the remaining months of the contract so i dont know what else to do and every time i call I get an automatic voice talking dutch, I already moved back and I don’t know what else to do
