KPN Invoice Marked as Paid Incorrectly

I have been trying to pay my first internet invoice. I added my subscription in the MijnKPN app, and went in the invoice section. Every time I clicked on the unpaid subscription it said something along the lines “Unable to open. Try again”. I tried multiple times, on three different devices, I tried using the in app help, I tried paying from the subscriptions tab etc. Nothing worked. I then tried to download the invoice on my laptop, and now it shows paid. I did not pay it… What should I do? How do you actually pay the bills if the app does not work?

Hi ​@l b, there was an issue with the app but it should work now. The newest version of our app will fix this. version 6.41.2

Hey ​@l b. Welcome to the KPN Community! It's great that you're staying on top of your bill payment and want to get it sorted out as quickly as possible. In that case, it's only fair that we make the process as easy as we can for you.

It seems that something is going wrong in the MijnKPN app when you try to pay your bill. I understand that you're unable to open the invoice itself, but do you also see a notification indicating that there are unpaid invoices? Normally, you should be able to click on that notification and pay via iDEAL.

If that's not the case, could you send us a screenshot of what you see and where things go wrong? That way, we can take a closer look and think along with you, or investigate how this can be resolved.

For now, I would recommend taking a look at our Kennisbank, where we explain in detail the different ways you can pay your invoices. For example, you can make a payment through our website using a code that was sent to you by SMS or email. Alternatively, you can make a direct bank transfer using the payment reference or your customer number.
