Overcharged for Internet Abroad

Hi,

Last month, I traveled to the UAE. When I arrived at the airport, I didn't immediately take out my SIM card, and apparently, my roaming was on. I received a text from KPN stating that I would receive 25 MB of text and call for around 14.99 euros. I did not use any data at that time, but since roaming was on, I assumed the internet was running in the background.

Suddenly, I received another text saying that I had used 80% of my 60.50 euro limit. I am sure that I never agreed to this or opted for such a limit, nor was I ever informed about this kind of limit. Now, I am being charged 60.50 euros for something that I did not use.

Kindly advise on how to appeal for this overcharge. Thanks.
