I have the same problem at my apartment. Could you please share the solution for the problem as I could not see it from the comments above. What should I do? Wait for KPN to resolve it or could I do it alone?

kpn is the least efficient company in the world.

Don’t do anything yourself and you won’t solve it by yourself. 

Call the company and make sure they will arrange a mechanic to come to your home(actually it’s the problem in their local distribution center) to change the connection. Just 5min work. Make sure you receive the confirmation email/SMS front them when making an appointment with them, otherwise you’ll wait the whole day at home and no one will come to your home.
