Hi

I have taken Fibre optic connection and I am using my own router which has openwrt firmware.  I tried to change in the settings and I still see different DNS address. Can anyone please help me on this?

Thanks

Hi wjb

Thanks for your immediate support.  I verified in openwrt forum and it looks like its my mistake.  I wrongly configured DNS address.  I followed below thread in openwrt and it started working.

The DNS server assigned to your workstation will change after a renewal of the DHCP lease.

Thanks wjb.  Its going to be more than a day now.  What is the DHCP lease time?  Cant we have the option to force reset it?

If you restart your workstation you will get a new DHCP lease.

Can you post some screenshots of the settings on your router and the settings on your workstation.
