Sinds een paar weken hebben wij nu een Experiabox V10. We hebben voor dit model gekozen sinds we de range van ons netwerk aangepast moesten hebben vanwege de VPN verbinding die wij maken.
Nu is het zo dat de range van de Experiabox weer naar standaard gaat als deze handmatig herstart word of bij stroomuitval.
Weten jullie hoe dit probleem gemakkelijk op te lossen is?

Je hebt de V10 in bruikleen bij jouw abonnement gekregen, neem ik aan. Het is wel gek dat je zelf gemaakte instellingen kwijt bent wanneer je de Experia Box reset, want dat hoort niet. Bij stroomuitval kan het alleen gebeuren als de stroomuitval erg lang duurt. Het zou overigens ook niet nodig moeten zijn om de Experia Box geregeld te herstarten, is er een reden dat dit (regelmatig) gedaan wordt?
Wat betreft het verliezen van de instellingen: Ik raad je aan om de Experia Box een volledige reset te geven, liefst via de webinterface waar je de instellingen ook aanpast. Stel daarna je instellingen weer in zoals je ze wilt hebben, ik verwacht dat ze vervolgens blijven staan.

Wat wordt er nu gedaan? Gereset of herstart?
Bij een fabrieks-reset gaan alle eigen instellingen verloren, maar bij een herstart blijven alle instellingen gewoon bestaan, althans, zo hoort het.
