Fiber connection is not working, alarm button is on and the technician can't help

It has been 3 weeks and no internet. On March 24 I got an email saying the installation package is delivered. But it was not. We reached out to customer service and they sent us another package.

Meanwhile we found out that the package was delivered to a neighbour's address. He gave us the package and we tried following the setup. The glass fibre box always showed the red alarm light on.

The new package sent by KPN was just a modem for copper wire connection. It did not have the setup to connect with glass fibre. 

After few attempts with technician there is still no interent but only more appointments. 

I am wondering whether KPN disabled the old pacakge boxes after sending the new one?

Hello ​@Ramanathan, how unfortunate that you still cannot use the KPN fiber connection. You write that a few technicians visits have been taking place? They could not install your internet? 
Without any customer details it is hard for me to say what is going wrong with your connection. 

Our customer service agents can tell you more about the problems and the time it takes to fix them. So that you can start using your KPN subscription.

​@Jeroen van KPN why would KPN say to my previous provider (budget thuis) to stop the internet while they still have not provided me with right connection? 
 

everything was working fine with my old copper connection with budget thuis. KPN said they can provide better connection and I signed up for it and now we have no internet. 
 

Technicican who came had a look said he sees no issue with installation and something is wrong in the ground . He didn’t have access to look at it and he raised a ticket. He was even rude and said things like “having no internet is your problem, you should have used kpn sim so they could have some emergency internet. It is your problem that you use different provider for mobile “. It looked more like he just want to raise a ticket and let go of any accountability. 
 

have not seen such worst customer service anywhere in the world!
 

Please do give us some priority and help us get back online!

A KPN technician can't fix it and the only thing he can do is make a ticket voor KPN Network. But they should have offered you an emergency package which consist of a small 4G mifi router so you still have wifi. If you haven't got that please call KPN back so they can send you one. It is called a "nood pakket" and should be available if you have technical issues which is expected to last longer then 48 hours.

It is absolutely not your fault for not having KPN Mobile, whe could have helped you sooner with getting you unlimited data while te issue is here but we also have other means (explained above) for that.
