How to connect the Experia Wifi without a cable

Reading your posts do I understand correctly that it is possible to connect the Experia wifi without using an ethernet cable to strengthen the wifi?

I have the same situation than JackB I thing. Modem KPN Box 12 is downstairs and on the first floor i have no wifi at all. + There is no possibility to have Ethernet cable on the 1srt floor.

I do not want to buy the Superwifi and KPN only offers me the black Experia wifi that the technician could not install because there is no cable upstairs. 

If there is a way to connect the Experia Wifi without a cable that would make me very happy.
