Internet contract passing did not work, can my old roommates get a new subcription?

I have moved out of my last place but my roommates are still living there so we tried doing a contract passing but that did not work and it took a long time. If my roommates form a new subscription and I cancel our last one how many days will it take to have internet in the house again?

A change of name should be the easiest way normally. But when I read your story it looks more like the opposite. What went wrong?

When you cancel, you still have month notice when you are out of contract. So when a new subscription is placed your old roommates can choose the last day of your subcription as a wish date. So they only have a few hours or a day without internet.
