I got a new modem and also the fiber cable work is done at my home. But the connection with the new fiber cable is not yet started. 

I have connected the new modem (as old I have to return to KPN) with the existing cable and now the internet stops working intermittently. I tried to switched off and  switch on the modem multiple times but didn't helped.  

Hi @virus, welcome to our forum. So you have a DSL connection right now and you are going to use fiber when that has been completed? While waiting for the fiber connection it would still be nice if the connection worked well. You've tried restarting the modem, have you tried resetting it? And do you know if the indicator lights on the modem change when you lose the connection?

Have you called our helpdesk at 0800-0402 (free of charge)? That might be the best way in this case, if you callt hem while the connection is interrupted, they'll be able to look at the situation in real time.
