  • Engineer came to install KPN 12B modem this afternoon (1st August 2023)
  • He tested the connection, and I logged into the internet on my phone via a QR code the engineer gave me , Internet/Wi-Fi worked fine.
  • As Engineer was leaving, he stated that the Wi-Fi will now cut-off for 10/15 mins and then turn back on and work as normal. This has not been the case after 6 hours.
  • Problem:  The power light and Wi-Fi light are solid green, but the internet light is flashing green rapidly so there is no internet connection to use Wi-Fi
  • I 've tried resetting and turning the modem on and off again but nothing has worked.

Please advise how this can be resolved.

 

If it rapidly blinking it's trying to set up a connection.
However there is a difference in the blinking speed and the difference is
Slow = No connection found
Fast  = Connection found trying to connect
Solid green = Connected

Do you have a fiber connection from KPN or the old DSL one?
Also have u tried removing the internet cable in the WAN or DSL port while it's blinking rapidly and putting it back in?
