Sorry voor Engels, but my Nederlandse is bad.

Today I woke up and discovered that my internet stopped working.

The blue light on an Experia Box v10A comes for a few seconds and then goes to constant red light.

Router configuration:

Model Name:    VRV9517
Firmware Version:    v5.00.58 build505-owl
Boot Code Version:    1.0.38-161.188
Hardware Version:    R01

In router system logs I see these lines:

Jan  1 00:00:27 VRV9517 syslog.info syslogd started: BusyBox
Jan  1 00:00:29 VRV9517 daemon.info dhcpd: Wrote 0 leases to leases file.
Jan  1 00:00:33 VRV9517 daemon.info dnsmasq[3670]: started, cache disabled
Jan  1 00:00:33 VRV9517 daemon.info dnsmasq[3670]: compile time options: IPv6 GNU-getopt no-DBus no-UBus no-i18n no-IDN DHCP no-DHCPv6 no-Lua TFTP no-conntrack no-ipset no-auth no-cryptohash no-DNSSEC no-ID loop-detect inotify dumpfile
Jan  1 00:00:33 VRV9517 daemon.info dnsmasq[3670]: read /etc/hosts - 6 addresses
Jan  1 00:00:49 VRV9517 daemon.crit dnsmasq[4281]: failed to create listening socket for port 53: Address already in use
Jan  1 00:00:49 VRV9517 daemon.crit dnsmasq[4281]: FAILED to start up

I did reboot the box, but it didn’t help. Then did reset the box, but it didn’t help either.

Does anyone knows how to solve this issue?

Apparently, the problem was not with Experia Box v10A, but with the fiber glass box. I did reboot the fiber glass box, and now everything works fine. I have no idea what was the root cause of this issue.

Hello @Andrei Masalski and welcome here!

Glad to hear that everything is working as is supposed to and thanks for sharing your solution here. If you ever need any further help again, please let us know :)
