KPN Netwerk not installing fiber, is there still an option?

I was so looking forward to have KPN fiber installed but when I finally got to KPN netwerk they tell me that they can put in the cable as there are concrete tiles and the only other option is to put a new gas pipe in the meter kast for them to run a cable. I have tried multiple folks including my gas provider and nobody can help. 

I am frustrated by this experience and looks like i have no option left but to continue with ziggo. Has anybody faced this issue and have they been able to work around with this?
