Move fiber connection point

I currently have a fiber connection point in the basement of my downstairs neighbor.

This is very unpractical and I'd like to move it upstairs. I really only need to pull a cable and I am pretty handy.

I, therefore, wonder if I could just get a fiber cable for KPN and do it myself. Thus, I wonder where can I get the right kind of cable?

Hi @olemax. Welcome to the community! I understand that the current location of your fiber connection point is not ideal. Unfortunately, it is not allowed to move the fiber cable yourself, as this can cause damage and affect the quality of your connection. However, what you can do is use a longer network cable from the fiber connection point to your ExperiaBox, as @JanD  mentioned above. This way, you can place the ExperiaBox in a different location in your home without moving the actual fiber cable.

Dear @olemax
If the fiber optic connection point is in a difficult location, you can possibly install a LAN cable yourself between the fiber optic point and the location in your home where the router is located.
The quality of the cable is at least CAT6 and you can determine the length yourself, as well as the color.
The cable can be purchased at any radio store or DIY store.
Success.
