Hi dear support team.

My IP address is in one of the spamlist (https://check.spamhaus.org/). I understand that it is kind of intended, but I already got an issue with few different web sites blocking my requests because my IP is in spamlist. Is there anything I can do about that?

Regards, Denis.

Hi @Denis.P! All handling of blacklisting and such goes through our abuse team. For matters regarding this I would recommend sending a detailed e-mail to abuse@kpn.com. I would like to ask you to please mention your KPN customer number, along with your question and the IP address it concerns. They should be able to help you further in this matter. Could you let me know here if they have been able to fix this problem for you?

On which blacklists is your IP address mentioned?

Hi @Denis.P! We haven't heard from you for a little while. Could you let me know if the problem you had is still present? Also could you let us know what the answer to @wjb's question if it still is?

Hi @wjb  and @Bram_ . Thank you very much for your help!

I’m very sorry for delay with response: I’ve been on vacation.

My IP is listed in this list

This IP is listed in the Policy Blocklist (PBL)

https://check.spamhaus.org/faqs/?id=PBL_what_is_it

As far as I understood it is not necessarily bad. And it basically means that I cannot send emails directly to MX (i don’t mind that, i’m using remote services for sending emails).

What is a bit sad: i’m very often asked to enter additional captcha, some services bans me and ask me to check, if I have any viruses sending emails. I was approaching those services via email, and they just using some third party API to check if my Ip has in any banlists.

Thank you for suggestion: i’ll send email to abuse@kpn.nl

If you want you can remove your IP from that list through https://www.spamhaus.org/pbl/removal/.

Please note that you will have to repeat that after six months as your IP address will automatically be added to the PBL again after six months.
