No fiber box in new apartment

Hello, I am changing places and in my new apartment no fiber optic box present. Only white box (see attachment). I have ordered the technician to come over on Monday 09/10/2023. Few questions:

1. Can connection be arranged earlier (Friday 06/10/2023)? I need internet asap and if KPN can not speed it up I am forced to consider alternative providers in the area.
2. Should I pay EUR 75 so that engineer installs this fiber optic box? I do not need any other services from him. Only this box.
3. How to make sure he has this box with him when he comes as I do not need anything else from him and I do not want to spend EUR 75 for nothing.
