No fiber connection point in my home for the KPN subscription

“I received a call from KPN to install fiber optic internet in my home, but since I work all day, I couldn't receive the technician at the time. Now I've switched from Ziggo to KPN and I don't have that connection point inside my home. I'm afraid I'll be without internet for weeks because of this.”

Hello ​@Maycon, welcome to our Community and welcome as a customer of KPN internet. If you choose for KPN with a transfer service, your Ziggo connection won't stop before KPN is active.

For now the first thing you need to do is, contact our customer service, to get a mechanic for installation and for KPN Netwerk to install the fiber connection. Dial the phonenumber 0800-0402

Hi ​@Maycon , did you choose for “overstapservice”?

Usually the previous telecom provider (Ziggo in this case) only swithces off the internet if the new party (Kpn) has confirmed it’s working.

I already tried to do that BUT the attendent I spoke to said that you would send the rigth equipment for the type of instalation I already have, that you now my connection type, but I swiched from ziggo to KPN TO HAVE fiber optic connection, not to keep my copper cables. I'll call again today.
