One device is unreasonably slow on wifi

Hello,

We finally had internet installed at our home after waiting for three months (with seven installation appointments, no less), and it works just fine with quick speeds for almost every device except for one: my laptop. While our other laptops and phones get 140Mbps, my laptop gets speeds that are basically unusable (around 0.1Mbps to 0.5Mbps if I’m lucky).

The laptop in question is a 2017 Macbook Pro running macOS 11.0.1. The modem is a KPN Box 12. Are there some settings on the modem that I can change to improve the situation?

@number1alien Welcome to our forum. 

Good to hear that almost everything is working like it should work. The problem with the laptop might be Wifi 6. 

You can put this out on the modem, or there might be driver updates for your laptop. Can you let me know if this works?
