Hello, to be able to print a document from AirPrint it is needed to have activated a specific port within the internet conexion. Could you pls help to know if mine is available? thank you

I assume you are using AirPrint to print on a printer on your local network.

If that is correct there should be no need to open any port.

Yes correct, I m trying to print on my HP Photosmart 5520 but not possible from Iphone nor Ipad, msg “no Airprint printer available”. It works well with other devices (Samsung, Dell, Lenovo). Apple told me about a port needed to allow airprint; could you pls help further? thank you

There is nothing to configure on the Experia Box.

Does the app on your iPhone and iPad have access to the local network?

This is a new setting introduced in iOS 14.

I think you did not fully understand my previous message.

Did you allow the app to be able to access the local network?

See this page.

Your iPad needs to be connected to your local network in order to be able to print documents on your printer using AirPrint.
