Hi,
Ik woon op de boventse verdieping van een nieuwbouw blok in zuid Amstelveen. De wifi verbreekt tientallen keren per dag de verbinding. Ik zie in de logs “Radar detected on channel nnn frequency switched for higher priority traffic”.
Ik vergeleek de tijdstempels van het logboek met herhalingen van Flightradar24 en elke keer dat een jet overvliegt, gebeurt dit!
Kan ik iets doen? Is het mogelijk om “automatic mesh offloading” af te zetten ?
Dankjewel,
John
volledige informatie:
Radar was detected on channel c...] (frequency e...] GHz), repeater on the 5-GHz-band deregistered from the access point for i30] min. (+ 1-10 min. additional radar wait time, depending on the channel assignment)"
This is an event message from the Wi-Fi area.
The FRITZ!Box detected a prioritized user on the channel in the 5- GHz Wi-Fi network, which is used for the connection to a Mesh Repeater. Within the European Union, prioritized primary) users include, for instance, radar systems used by air-traffic control, the military, and weather services.
To prevent disturbing the prioritized user, the FRITZ!Box temporarily deregistered the Mesh Repeater from the 5- GHz Wi-Fi network.
The Wi-Fi network can continue to be used on the repeater. The FRITZ!Box steers wireless devices like smartphones and notebooks to the 2.4- GHz Wi-Fi network or to a different wireless access point:
-
The FRITZ!Box can seamlessly steer wireless devices that support the wireless standards 802.11k or 802.11v to the 2.4- GHz Wi-Fi network or to a different wireless access point.
-
After a brief interruption, the FRITZ!Box can steer older wireless devices that do not support 802.11k or 802.11v to the 2.4- GHz Wi-Fi network.
As soon as the 5- GHz Wi-Fi network is available again, the FRITZ!Box steers the wireless devices back to the 5- GHz network.
