Warzone - 100% Packet Loss

Hello All, 

 

please can anyone help, tried speaking to KPN but they advised to chat here. 
 

in short my kids are trying to play COD Warzone on our Xbox Series S, however it will just not connect to their servers.  Now I have tried all the usual tricks of hard reset, restart the router, cables in different ports and still nothing. 
 

what I do see on my Xbox in tests of multiplayer and diagnostics, is that we are having 100% packet loss, which can cause issues with gaming. The strange thing is, that Warzone is the only game this seems to impact, so makes me feel it’s Connected to how info flows through the router, to the Warzone servers (or not in this case). 
 

doing research online it seems this is something happening to others and I saw some posts about changing some settings from within your router, however I don’t want to mess about here as I have no clue in this level of detail.  
 

also my internet over all works 99% of the time, but when your kids (and I) want to play one of the newest games out there and can’t, it’s driving us insane. 
 

please help anyone.

Welcome to our forum, @Gmaster147. Last August we did experience some issues with the connection between KPN and Activision-Blizzard. These problems have been resolved. Currently, there are no known issues. Have you already contacted Activision-Blizzard about your issues with playing CoD Warzone?

So reading further in this forum I see that many have had issues via KPN playing Warzone, somethings on here about info flow to blizzard servers or something. 
 

can anyone advise the status here as this is crazy. I have not been able to play this game for months.

Thanks for the response Dennis, no I have not contacted Blizzard as I wanted to better understand why I have 100% packet loss from my ISP first. 
 

is this something you can advise on before I start to contact other external companies, as my son is ok to play upstairs on his PC (even though we need to reset the router most days) at least we can somehow get it to work. 
 

but for me downstairs on my Xbox won’t work at all. Feels strange that it’s blizzard issue when clearly if we reboot the router we can somehow make it work, yet my packet loss is still 100%.

If you're not experiencing issues with regular internet use, I'd say the connection. However, the connection between your XBOX and Activision-Blizzard over your KPN connection gives problems. I'd therefore like to advise you to first contact Activision-Blizzard.
