Hi there! I'm considering switching to KPN. I'm currently on KPN Fiber GPON Network, but before switching to KPN as ISP, I'd like to ask a favor to any other KPN/KPN user running their fiber and services:

Latency/Peering with long distance servers is the reason why I would be switching to KPN, but since I don't know anybody that has Fiber KPN I really don't know if switching will improve or make it worse.

So if anybody having fiber could run a ping test using this:

https://www.meter.net/ping-test/

Selecting the server “Argentina - Buenos Aires: EdgeUno” and share the results, I will really appreciated.

Here is the result I'm getting, with my current provider:

Thanks in advance!

Hallo @furfix

It's just a slow connection to that server, it seems it hardly matters which provider or connection you use, I've tried 3 different connections (Ziggo (cable), Solcon (on a KPN Fiber connection) and KPN Fiber) and all are about the same:

Thanks a lot @GeSp! Just a quick question, you ran the test connected to an eth port and over wifi, right?

Hi @furfix

Not over WiFi, I’ve tested from 3 different machines (with different provider connections) which are connected with a network cable.

Thanks a lot! Thanks a lot @GeSp . It really helped me!
