KPN TV Box is not connecting to my television

I just started using KPN TV and having the worst experience - the TV box suddenly disconnected from my TV and I cannot reconnect even after restarting and resetting the box, my remote also doesn’t work properly as only a few buttons work, my network is unable to connect with my Robovac after several attempts. How can I solve all these problems?

First of all, welcome here and thank you for bringing this up. From what I read, it seems this is related to the wireless connection. I’d like to ask a few things:

  • Did you run the WiFi Manager to try to improve this?
  • Did you reset the modem by holding down the small reset button for 30 seconds. Could you also let me know which modem you have?
  • Are you using any WiFi extenders? If so, which ones?

Please let me know.

  2. Hoe is hij met de tv verbonden?
  3. Wat is Robovac? (via Google zie ik alleen stofzuigers van dit merk)
  4. Welke KPN modem / router gebruik je?
  5. Hoe is de KPN tv ontvanger verbonden met de KPN modem / router (Experiabox of Box12)? of te wel wat zit daar precies allemaal tussen.

I have the TV+ box (model DIW7022) , connected to my TV via HDMI. It worked on connection, disconnected when I turned off the TV and came back when I re-started the box. This time, it refuses to connect after restarting and restting the box. By Robovac, I mean Eufy Robot vaccum cleaner, it worked well with Ziggo. I use the KPN modem Box 12.

If I understand correctly, you unplug (get the power of) the Sagemcom DIW7022 to run the vacuum cleaner.If so, then it might be correct; it needs to reboot completely, I think that you this also with the Ziggo box.How is the DIW7022 connected to the KPN router (Experiabox or Box12) via Wi-Fi or a UTP cable?

 

Also control if the HDMI connector is correct in the tv and in the DIW7022

Hi. I have not been able to connect the vacuum cleaner to the wifi. Typically, the vacuum cleaner connects to wifi to work and when  I tried, it says the connection is not strong enough to connect. So I cannot use the vacuum cleaner. The DIW7022 is connected to the router via wifi. The HDMI is correctly connected to the TV - the KPN TV+ worked for a while but now is no longer working

Sounds like a problem with your wifi. Did you try to restart the KPN router?

If that does not help, try running the “Mijn wifinetwerk” diagnostic tool in MijnKPN app.  On second thought, that may be a challenge if your wifi doesn’t work at all…

If it’s feasible in your home setup I would recommend connecting the tv box directly to the router with an ethernet cable, that’s the most reliable.

Thanks for all your responses. I got KPN support via phone and my TV now works. My Eufy X8 SES pro does not yet connect. I have added an extra 2.4 GHZ but still does not connect. It says its about signal strength and I should move close to the router. I have done all still no success

Did you also connect the Eufy with the 2.4 Ghz network? Perhaps a fresh reset of the Eufy might help.
