IP changes every 5 min on my 5G connection.

Hi!

My KPN 5G connection IP address changes frequently - it’s switching between two IPs 77.63.112.211 and 77.63.105.4 every 5 minutes or so. As a result, my VPN connection gets dropped every time.

This is very strange as I’ve been using KPN 5G occasionally as a spare connection and I was able to work for hours without IP switching. I’ve gotten this problem today.

I’ve contacted support by telephone and they said they are happy enough to provide a service of a quality like this and they don’t want to solve this problem as this is not a problem by their regulations.

Can someone advise which options exist to solve this problem for a private consumer? Is there some reseller from which I can buy KPN business tariff and get a static IP?

You don’t have a fixed ip-adres, that’s normal, but changing every 5 minutes is too quick indeed.
You could try another setting for APN: advancedinternet

You could try another setting for APN: advancedinternet
