Reactivating phone number after canceling my contract, is this possible?

I recently canceled my mobile contract, and as a result, my phone number has been deactivated. I would like to know if there is any possibility of reactivating the number. Are there any specific time limits or conditions under which reactivation is possible? Additionally, what steps should I take to request this process? Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Usually you can't get that back, but you can always try.
The forum cannot do anything for you, only customer service can help you,
it can be reached on telephone with the toll-free number 0800 0402 closed on Sundays
Available on: Mon-Fri between 08:00 - 18:00, Sat. 08:00 - 17:00.

I don’t believe the statement "Usually you won't get it back" is entirely true. I found a post on this forum where someone was able to reactivate it.

I’ll try calling customer service. Thanks for your response!

I contacted KPN Customer Service and spoke with the technical department, and they were able to restore my number. It took a couple of days, but the issue is now resolved. Thanks!
